US: 4.4% of world population

China: 19+%, or about 4 times the US population.

Of course China will overtake the US economy in size. So too will India soon with its massive population. Any Republican who wins the Presidency going forward will have to deal with a rapidly changing world where the US is no longer the sole superpower. And US influence will adjust according to the escalating rise in power of China and India. And there is nothing the US can do about it. Nothing. Republicans must understand the US is not “exceptional” and must realize there is more than one way to live life (not stuck in 1950’s America) and to coexist without resorting to “who do we bomb?” as a first resort.
